Eskom is offering an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join its Graduate in Training (GIT) programme within the Occupational Health, Safety, and Security Department. The programme provides structured institutional and on-the-job training aimed at developing professional skills and practical experience in the fields of Safety Management, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Health, and Security Management. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to Eskom’s operational standards, policies, and procedures while contributing to the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured institutional and on-the-job training within the OHS & Security department
• Support the implementation of Eskom’s safety, health, environmental, and security policies
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on compliance with safety and security standards
• Contribute to promoting a safe, secure, and efficient workplace environment

Qualifications

• Completed Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental/Health Sciences, Security Management, or Policing
• No prior work experience required
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be an advantage
